The event featured more than 70 innovative technology companies showcasing their products and services to an audience of representatives from local, national and international businesses all seeking partnerships with entrepreneurial technology companies based in Scotland.
The Showcase included 3 Zones:
Technology Zone - 72 technology companies demonstrated their products and services. View the exhibitor list.
- Opportunity Zone - featured 5-minute presentations from exhibitors outlining a specific business need with the objective of identifying individuals/organisations that can help meet this requirement.
- Meeting Zone - pre-booked meetings took place here, increasing the interaction between delegates and exhibitors on the day.
With a broader technology scope than previous events, the Showcase was of particular relevance to anyone who has an interest in the following technology sectors: electronics and photonics; energy and environment; ICT and software; nanotechnology; materials; manufacturing; product design and systems engineering and technology for life sciences.
All aspects of the Scottish Technology Showcase 08 were designed to make it easier for both exhibitors and delegates to do business, with numerous networking opportunities throughout the day including post event networking and the popular Marketplace cafe.
